The oldest entry in the series to date, 30 Year Old Single Malt: Madeira Cask introduces a distinctive new cask finish into the Rare Cask repertoire; the spirit spends the latter majority of its maturation in 3 hand-selected first-fill Madeira wine casks after first aging in bourbon and sherry casks for just over 13 years.

Tasting Notes

An enticing bouquet of roasted walnuts, crème brûlée, and baked peaches, complemented by hazelnut and orange marmalade. A smooth palate unfolding with pralines, toffee, dark chocolate, and molasses.

MATURATION

Triple-distilled on October 31 of 1991, where it was then aged in hand-selected bourbon and sherry casks for 13 years and four months, before marrying and continuing its maturation in three “first fill” Madeira wine casks in February of 2005.
